Steps to use ASSIGN

Suggested workflow:

  1. Prepare the Basic Network and Site configurations
  2. Create an Assign Network from the Basic Network
  3. Define Zones and Zone Connectors
  4. Create or import O-D Volumes (Assign and Fixed)
  5. Configure an Assign Scenario (choose method: AON/IA/UE/SUE/FRA, set parameters)
  6. Set Initial Volumes and Fixed Trips
  7. Run the assignment and monitor convergence (duality gap, iterations)
  8. Review outputs: route flows, link volumes, desire lines, reports
  9. Export results and iterate on inputs as required
